At Arleigh Sporthorses, we don't just train - we cultivate partnerships.
Over the course of our careers, we have managed some of the most prestigious training programs on the East Coast, ridden for multiple 5* and Olympic riders, and have produced multiple horses through the FEI level.
Combining the skills and knowledge we have learned along the way, we
started Arleigh Sporthorses out of a burning passion to help horses and riders advance in their careers. Our unique approach to training is multifaceted; we put the health and care of our equine partners at the forefront and provide a congruent theory between the two disciplines we teach.

Carlie focuses her training on balance, harmony, and the principles of classical equitation. Her students and horses in training appreciate her patience, consistency, and sense of humor.

Charlie is committed to providing his students with a well-rounded education in all three phases, with his main focus based on classical equitation. His students love his positivity, passion for the sport, and his ability to create relatable analogies as it pertains to riding.

As an owner, I couldn’t ask for better care or training. Carlie and Charlie prioritize the horses’ well-being and have a network of excellent vets and farriers who share their philosophy. They worked closely with my vet on a rehabilitation program after my horse got himself into trouble. Their thoughtful care brought him back to 100%. Today, he’s better than ever!
